To celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Taihe District Disabled Persons' Federation of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province organized an activity of “in-service members visit the community” and visited some of the poor visually impaired people in Tanghezi Street.
Zhang Shanling, vice chairman of the Taihe Disabled Persons' Federation, led some members to visit the four disabled people who had visual impairments in Tanghezi and sent them some braille talking rice cookers.
Zhang Gang, a disabled person living in Tanghezi Street, is a visually impaired disability. His mother is bedridden all the year due to cerebral thrombosis. His younger brother is mentally disabled. He takes care of sick mothers and younger brothers at home all year round. Their life is very difficult, when receiving the braille talking rice cooker sent by the Taihe Disabled Persons' Federation, excitedly said: "Thanks to the concern of the Party and the government, thank you for the concern of the Taihe District Disabled Persons' Federation. "
Through this activity, we learned about the needs of the disabled and other aspects of life, and built a good platform for communication between the Disabled Persons' Federation and the grassroots disabled, and better serve the disabled.
